This is a very good grade of synthetic motor oil for diesel engines. My diesel has 280,000 miles and I have always used synthetic oil. My mechanic looked at the specs of this oil and he was impressed. Yes, it is a little pricey, but think about the cost of replacing an engine. In my opinion, it is very well worth the cost, if you want a very good quality synthetic diesel motor oil.
