My Audi factory setting says I should use VW 508.00. Somewhere online it says 5w-40. It’s 82000 miles and I decided to give it a shot to go 0W-20 which is what VW508.00 is. I just got it changed about 30 min ago and the engine sounds like a little cat. The gas pedal feel is very smooth, there’s definitely less resistance when pushing forward. In Sports mode driving, the engine is not as loud and the lag or drag is noticeably less. And when it hits 100k, I will do a engine flush to see if I can get further improvements. So far, I really love Liqui Moly. I used to use it on my S500 and it was very smooth. A little more money goes a long way! Don’t settle for less for your German cars.Update:I just did another 1000 miles in a week to Vegas and back. The fuel economy improved about 20%. The power increase is amazing. I could notice when I am going fast, the sustained speed at high speed is easy and continuous, It doesn’t just hit a snag when your foot is off the pedal. And the engine is definitely a lot quieter and smoother. I am amazed at the overall improvement after using this oil. No other oil will do from now on.
Buttery smooth Engine performance
I have been using Mobil1 full Synthetic oil. I recently came across liquimoly and wanted to give it a shot based on the reviews. The first thing you will notice is how quiet the engine runs. I thought it might be a short term thing as all engines tend to be very quiet initially for a 50-100 miles after oil change. Its been more than 1500 miles and still VERY VERY quiet. My Lexus has 63k miles and I don’t remember the last time it was this quiet. I think I will keep using Liquimoly form here on.

The best engine oil Ive ever used. Engine is whisper quiet and responds well when I accelerate rapidly.Previously Iâve used Castrol, penzoil, mobil1 and royal purple. Liqui moly takes the first place, in front of Castrol edge. I will definitely buy this oil again for my civic sport.

For the last 15 years, I’ve been loyal to Mobil 1 synthetic oils.I heard qualified engine technicians talk about Liquimoly throughout the years so I decided to research their products. After countless hours of research, I decided to take the plunge and bought this product for my 2019 Nissan Rogue with the 2.5l engine and 45000 kilometers. Note: when engine is cold-started, I noticed that the lifters would make a slight “ticking” noise, but would disappear within seconds once they filled up with oil. I’ve always changed my oil when I hit the 5000km mark using Mobil 1 0W20 and their trusted M1-108A filter. Color was clear-ish and magnet on drainplug showed no signs of engine wear). I let the oil drain overnight to ensure no oil remained in the pan.In went the Liquimoly 0W20 oil and new M1-108A filter. Checked the level on the dipstick and took her for a 5-minute drive. The next morning, I remote-started it from my balcony and the lifters did NOT make any ticking sounds. Hmmmm…. strange. For the next 4 mornings, I got the same results: The lifters were now whisper-quiet.Is Mobil 1 oil a bad product? No… far from it. However, the quality behind Liquimoly has proven to be superior, and because of this, I have made the switch. Sorry Mobil 1, put the lifters have spoken.
