Works in my Toyota Hybrid
Perfect match for the rated oil in my Toyota Hybrid.
It is, “The Right Stuff” for my Toyota Prius.
Crazy, but… The owners manual for my Japanese car, specifies this “unusual” oil. My dealership does not stock this stuff, you get 0-W20 in most cases. If your lucky, they have it in synthetic as specified. Does the substitution make any difference? Maybe it does not, or maybe you get one or two MPG less with the thicker oil. The engine starts and stops constantly, so maybe the right oil protects it better. Thing is, people buy a Prius for two reasons; Great MPG, and long dependable life. If you are a fanatic about those things, put the right oil in the engine. You only need to replace it every 10,000 miles. Okay, the owners manual says every 10,000 miles, I do it a bit more frequently because I live on a gravel road. Some other Japanese engines use this grade too, it is not just for a Prius.
BEST OIL
I have a 13 year old Honda Insight with 234,000 miles. Normally i change my oil every 5,000 miles. At this oil change, instead of using 0w-20 oil I decided to try 0w-16.This oil clearly makes a difference. My engine has never run smoother or quieter. I was surprised at the result. I will continue to use this oil in the future.
Lost Shipment Made Right
The oil is good, this review is to praise Autoplicity and how they thoughtfully and promptly refunded me even though the shipping provider âdeliveredâ my item. I contacted Autoplicity right away and they refunded my money and only asked that if it showed up to let them know.Well, 4 days later it showed up. When I informed Autoplicity, they waived their right to charge me again even when they could have. So I appreciated that. It certainly wasnât their fault at all.

Great Quality
Besides the dealer oil changes on my 21â RAV4, Iâve been using Idemitsu 0W-16 with TRD OEM oil filters. I change my oil exactly at 5k mile intervals. Every time, itâs still brown. Itâs cheaper than Mobile-1 (OEM Toyota) and other brands. Great quality for the price! Japanese oil for a Japanese car brand!
First Oil Change in my 2020 Corolla Hatchback 2.0L !
Although the manual suggests breaking the car in are as follows for the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback 2.0L Engine:First: 186 miles. Avoid Sudden StopsFirst 621 miles.-Do not drive at extremely high speeds-Avoid sudden acceleration-Do not drive continuously in low gears-Do not drive at a constant speed for extended periods of timeI did my oil change at around 450 miles, and this oil is GREAT so far! I bought two of these, and really looking to see how this 0W-16 works. Hopefully more stores will start to carry it! However overall, this stuff has been great at a great price!
2019 Toyota Avalon 2.5ltr Hybrid
This oil is certified GF-6B and 0W-16, its what the manufacture recommends. My local dealer was trying to tell me that 0w-20 is ok but the manual says to only use that once in a while if the 0w-16 is not available. The GF-6B is formulated to prevent sludge and prevent low-speed pre-ignition while getting top notch fuel economy. Idemitsu is the leader in low weight oils in Japan, this is as high quality as Mobile 1.
